Prevent aging using Ethocyn

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

Collagen and elastin are the two fibers which make up the skin.  While collagen provides structural support and resist stretching, the elastin fibers make the skin flexible and allow it to revert to its original condition when stretched. As a person ages, the amount of DHT produced increases and this inhibits the production of elastin, and the skin starts aging gradually. Depending on hereditary and other factors, this happens between the age of 25 to 30.

After spending years doing extensive research on skin and aging, the biochemist Dr. Chantal Burnison has developed the anti-aging ingredient Ethocyn. It blocks the DHT-DHT receptor binding in fibroblast skin cells which inhibit the production of elastin, and so elastin continues to be produced at the same level as in young skin. By applying ethocyn to the skin twice in a day for a  period of a month or two, the skin will regain the elasticity it had when the person was 20 years old. Extensive laboratory tests have been conducted which support the efficacy of this product.

A wide range of skincare products which contain the ingredient Ethocyn have been developed by Dr. Chantal Burnison. These include eye cream, hydrating cream, gel cleanser, revitalizing masque, hand and body moisturizer, Ethocyn Hydrating Complex and Ethocyn Essence.

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

A rash on the face initially starts off as a swelling in certain areas and then spreads to the rest of the face. The affected areas become sore and it causes itching. It may also affects the self image of the patient.

Some dermatologists may be diagnose this condition as an allergy and ask the patient to wash his or her face and neck with warm milk and hydrocortosine, but it may not effective in treating this condition. If the rash is caused by an allergy, it is important to find out the allergens and take  suitable measures to avoid contact with them. Some of the common allergens are pollen, cat hair, shellfish and other foods.

Drinking lots of water, eating fresh fruits , vegetables and having a high fiber diet, reduces the level of toxins in the body. High doses of Vitamin A, Vitamin C and fish oil are good for the  skin and  boost the immune system. Drinking aloe vera juice, which is available at health stores  will also help in improving the condition of the skin.

To reduce the itch, rub a small amount of  Vicks Vaporub on the affected skin, it has cooling effect. However, it is advisable to test on a smaller area first to check if your skin is sensitive. Benadryl may also help.
